If osterine was found in his system, then he was guilty of violating the rules of the sports. The fact that he is required to pass a drug test before returning to the sports means that Ryan negotiated to avoid heftier punishment for the violation. He was given a 1 year sentence for failing to report that he had used a banned substance. However, the question that remains is, what is the contaminant, and how was the sample contaminated. I think I’m even more confused now.
